Privacy Policy

Version dated 23 July 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how Titane Club (operated by SUPERCAR RENTAL EUROPE) collects, uses and protects personal data when you use our website, contact us, request a quote, book a vehicle, apply for a club card or gift certificate, or otherwise deal with us. It also tells you how to exercise your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Belgian law. We may update this Policy from time to time; the current version is always published on this page.

1. Privacy Notice

We offer luxury self-drive and chauffeur car rental and related services under the Titane Club brand, through this website, e-mail, phone and other channels we operate. This Notice applies to personal data we collect in that context. If you have questions, write to contact@titane.club with the subject line “Privacy” — we will respond carefully and within the time limits set by GDPR.

Cookies and similar technologies are described separately in our Cookie Statement.

2. Personal data you give us

We cannot process a booking or respond properly to a request without certain information. Depending on what you ask for, this may include:

  • name and contact details (e-mail, phone, postal address where relevant);
  • date of birth and age band (where needed for eligibility for a vehicle class);
  • passport / national ID details and driving-licence details needed to prepare or perform a rental contract;
  • preferred city of pick-up / drop-off, rental dates, selected vehicle and optional services (chauffeur, extras);
  • payment-related information required for booking prepayment or a security deposit (card processing may be handled by a payment provider);
  • club-membership or gift-certificate details if you apply for those products;
  • any other information you voluntarily send in forms, chat, e-mail or attachments.

If you contact us (phone, e-mail or messaging), we process the information contained in that correspondence so we can help you.

3. Personal data you give us about others

You may add an additional driver or book on behalf of another person (for example a colleague or family member). If you do, you must make sure that person knows you are sharing their details with us and has accepted how we handle personal data as described in this Policy. That responsibility sits with you.

4. Personal data we collect automatically

When you visit our website we may collect limited technical data needed for security, diagnostics and basic analytics — for example IP address, browser type, language settings, pages visited, approximate device type and referral source. Even if you do not complete a booking, some of this information may be logged automatically. Further detail is in the Cookie Statement.

5. Personal data we receive from others

We may receive information about you from:

  • payment and banking partners involved in prepayment or deposit authorisation;
  • delivery, logistics or local partners needed to hand over or collect a vehicle;
  • insurers or claims handlers if an incident occurs during a rental;
  • public authorities where the law requires us to obtain or verify information.

We combine such information with data you give us only where necessary for the purposes below.

6. Why we collect and use personal data

We use personal data for the following purposes:

  1. Bookings and contracts — to check availability, confirm a rental, prepare and perform the rental agreement, club-card or certificate order, and send confirmations, changes and practical instructions.
  2. Customer service — to answer questions before, during and after a rental, and to handle complaints carefully.
  3. Payments and deposits — to arrange prepayment in EUR and security deposits / card holds as stated in the contract.
  4. Insurance and claims — to administer insurance cover, excess (franchise) and any claim related to the rental.
  5. Legal compliance — accounting, tax, anti-fraud and responses to lawful requests by competent authorities.
  6. Service improvement — aggregated or limited analysis of how the website and service are used, so we can fix errors and improve clarity.
  7. Marketing (only with your consent) — news about Titane Club fleet, offers or membership, where you have asked to receive them. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time by e-mailing contact@titane.club or using an unsubscribe link where provided. Withdrawal does not affect a rental already booked.

Providing personal data is voluntary, but without certain data we cannot complete a booking or contract.

7. Legal bases (GDPR)

Depending on the situation, we rely on:

  • Article 6(1)(b) — performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract (booking, rental, club card, certificate);
  • Article 6(1)(c) — legal obligation (e.g. accounting and tax retention in Belgium);
  • Article 6(1)(f) — legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, improving the website), balanced against your rights;
  • Article 6(1)(a) — consent, where we ask for it (for example certain marketing).

Submitting a form with a privacy-consent checkbox means you confirm you have read this Policy for that request. Marketing consent is separate and can be withdrawn without affecting the rental contract itself.

8. Who we share personal data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only where needed:

  • Within our operations — staff and contractors bound by confidentiality who need access to deliver the service;
  • Payment providers — to process payments or deposit holds;
  • IT providers — hosting, e-mail, CRM or similar processors acting on our instructions under contract;
  • Local delivery / fleet partners — only the details required to hand over or collect the vehicle;
  • Insurers and claims handlers — where an incident or claim arises;
  • Competent authorities — where required by law or court order.

If a partner receives data to perform the rental, they may also process it under their own notices for what they do independently. Transfers outside the EEA, if any, are made only with appropriate safeguards under GDPR (for example standard contractual clauses).

9. Security and retention

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure (access limits, need-to-know rules, contractual duties for processors).

We keep data only as long as needed for the purpose and for mandatory retention:

  • booking enquiries and related correspondence — while needed to handle the request, then a reasonable period for follow-up or claims;
  • contracts, invoices and accounting records — for the periods required under Belgian law (typically several years);
  • marketing contacts — until you withdraw consent or object;
  • technical logs / cookies — as described in the Cookie Statement, generally short-term.

10. Children

Our services are aimed at adults who can enter into a rental contract. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18 for marketing or account creation. If we receive such data in error, we will delete it when we become aware of it, unless we must keep it for a specific legal reason (for example an insurance matter with parental authority).

11. Your rights

Subject to legal limits, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

Send requests to contact@titane.club (subject “Privacy”). We may ask for information to verify your identity. We aim to reply within one month as provided by GDPR.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit) or with your local supervisory authority in the EU.

12. Updates to this Policy

We may revise this Policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top of the page shows the current version. Material changes will be reflected here. Where processing is based on consent, we will seek fresh consent if the law requires it.

13. Relationship with other documents

Rental contracts, Rental terms, Service rules and the Cookie Statement may contain additional operational rules. On personal data, this Policy and GDPR prevail in case of conflict with older wording. For company signatories / sole traders see also consent form (PDF).
